Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 24, 2026
Service:fromthethink.com, operated by FromTheThink ("we", "us").

1) What this policy covers

This policy covers the parent fromthethink.com website. It does not replace the privacy policies for individual games or subdomains. Each game has its own privacy policy.

2) Data we collect on this site

The fromthethink.com site is a simple landing page with links to our games. We do not provide account creation, contact forms, payments, or user-submitted content on this site.

Our hosting and network providers may process standard request data such as IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamp in order to deliver and secure the site.

3) Advertising, cookies, and analytics

The site may load third-party advertising code. Advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, and similar technologies to deliver ads, limit ad frequency, prevent fraud, measure ad performance, and, depending on your settings and region, personalize ads.

You can control cookies through your browser. We do not currently run PostHog product analytics on the parent site.

4) Legal basis for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, or United Kingdom, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to process standard request data for delivering, securing, measuring, and improving the site, unless consent is required for a specific cookie, advertising, or similar technology.

5) Linked games

Timeline, Headline, and Moneyline are separate services with their own privacy policies and their own gameplay, analytics, advertising, and storage practices.

6) Service providers and international data transfers

We use service providers that help us operate the parent site, including Cloudflare for static hosting, delivery, security, and observability, and Google for advertising. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses, data processing terms, adequacy decisions, or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — for example, the ICO in the UK at ico.org.uk.

8) Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages.

9) California residents (CCPA)

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may request to know, access, delete, correct, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and may opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. Google advertising may involve cookies or similar technologies that can be considered sharing under California law. You can manage ad choices through Google and your browser, or contact us with the subject line "CCPA Request".

10) Retention

We retain data for as long as is reasonably necessary to deliver, secure, and improve our services. We periodically review and delete data that is no longer needed.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent version.
