Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 7, 2026
Service:fromthethink.com and games operated by From The Think LLC ("we", "us").

1) What this policy covers

This policy covers fromthethink.com, our browser-based games, and related From The Think pages that link to this policy.

2) Data we collect on this site

We do not provide account creation, payments, or public profiles. If you play a game, we may process gameplay events, guesses, scores, completion state, share/referral events, approximate region, timestamps, browser and device information, and standard request data. If you send feedback or contact us, we process the information you choose to provide.

Our hosting and network providers may process standard request data such as IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamp in order to deliver and secure the site.

3) Advertising, cookies, and analytics

The site may load advertising code from NitroPay/Overwolf and advertising demand partners. Advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information, and similar technologies to deliver ads, limit ad frequency, prevent fraud, measure ad performance, and, depending on your settings and region, personalize ads.

NitroPay provides consent controls for regions where consent is required. If the consent control is available for your region, you can update your choices using the privacy choices link in the site footer.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Some game pages use PostHog analytics; restricted or unknown regions use cookieless analytics mode where supported.

4) Legal basis for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, or United Kingdom, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to process standard request data for delivering, securing, measuring, and improving the site, unless consent is required for a specific cookie, advertising, or similar technology.

Where consent is required, we rely on your consent for personalized advertising and similar storage or access technologies. You may withdraw consent through that consent control when it is available in your region.

5) Games and related pages

Timeline, Headline, and Moneyline may also be available on game-specific paths or subdomains. Those pages may link to this policy or to a game-specific policy.

6) Service providers and international data transfers

We use service providers that help us operate the site and games, including Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and observability; Railway for backend hosting; PostHog for analytics; Google services where used; and NitroPay/Overwolf for advertising. These providers and advertising partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses, data processing terms, adequacy decisions, or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — for example, the ICO in the UK at ico.org.uk.

8) Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages.

9) California residents (CCPA)

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies, California residents may request to know, access, delete, correct, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and may opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies in ways that can be considered selling or sharing under California law. California residents can opt out using the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link in the site footer. We also set NitroPay's CCPA opt-out signal when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we may have collected include identifiers such as IP address or device identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information, approximate geolocation derived from network data, and inferences used for advertising or analytics. We disclose these categories to service providers and advertising partners for the purposes described in this policy.

10) Retention

We retain data for as long as is reasonably necessary to deliver, secure, and improve our services. We periodically review and delete data that is no longer needed.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent version.
